Kitchen Island

Two pedestals, connected with a footrest and wooden frame, support the granite counter top in this kitchen island. The pedestals have adjustable shelves for storage. The trapezoidal shape of each pedestal gives more room for those seated at the island. At one of the supporting frames are a towel bar and an electrical outlet. The island is made of ash and is accented with bloodwood.
